[GUIDE] How to go to Philippine General Hospital (PGH) | Manila, Philippines

The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) in Manila, Philippines is the biggest public hospital in the country. Each day, it serves hundreds of patients all over the country, mostly indigents who are not able to afford medical services in private hospitals.

Run and managed by the University of the Philippines, the PGH is noted for its topnotch doctors and wide array of medical services offered.

Sadly, PGH suffers from a chronic problem of lack of funds due to low government appropriation. This means that with meager resources at its disposal, it struggles to address the needs of all those who come to visit.
