Run and managed by the University of the Philippines, the PGH is noted for its topnotch doctors and wide array of medical services offered.
Sadly, PGH suffers from a chronic problem of lack of funds due to low government appropriation. This means that with meager resources at its disposal, it struggles to address the needs of all those who come to visit.
It is the hope that the national government pay attention to the sorry plight of PGH and give it the resources it badly needs. In so doing, PGH will be in a much better position to address the medical needs of as many Filipinos as possible.
